At the backbone of Canadian hifi for 40 years, MOON by Simaudio continues to be one of the most coveted names in high end audio electronics. Now, they also have their own sound: introducing MOON Voice 22.
The tagline “the sound of a new era” gives certain expectations and we’re excited to share that these new speakers most definitely measure up. We invite you to hear the Voice 22 loudspeakers as part of a complete system with the MOON Ace all-in-one integrated amplifier and are booking listening experiences in our Vernon and Kelowna soundrooms.
Like the rest of the MOON product line, the Voice 22 loudspeakers are made in Canada. A 2-way design with soft dome tweeter and polypropylene cone woofer, these bookshelf-sized 6ohm speakers offer 89dB sensitivity with 50W – 150W recommended power amplification and a unique base provides a clean silhouette.
The Voice 22 is delightfully matched with the MOON Ace all-in-one integrated amplifier and its proprietary MiND streamer. Simply connect the Voice 22 and enjoy. Love vinyl? The ACE has a built-in phono stage for you to connect your turntable.
MOON Voice 22 speaker specifications:
- The tweeter has a 29mm dome textile membrane and a large surround designed to work without a typical front plate, and is integrated into a custom waveguide, permitting a wider frequency range and lower crossover frequency.
- The 155mm woofer has a cast-aluminum basket and mineral-filled polypropylene membrane that allows for a detailed midrange and strong, extended bass.
- The crossover features a dual-layer PCB designed with carefully selected, high-quality metallized polypropylene film capacitors for optimal sound quality and long-term reliability.
- The enclosure employs a unique patent-pending technology called CGD (Curved Groove Damping) to control the panel resonances of the loudspeaker.
- The Hover Base lends a visually striking appearance to the enclosure, which seems to gracefully float above the furniture. It ensures that the Voice 22 may be placed on virtually any surface without leaving a mark, while adding stability to the loudspeaker and guaranteeing sound integrity.
