Paradigm loudspeakers have been designed, engineered, and crafted just outside of Toronto (Canada) since 1982. Co-founders Jerry VanderMarel and Scott Bagby wanted to build high performance loudspeakers with custom-designed components based on science, not speculation. To find the sweet spot of performance and approachability, they tapped university audio researchers and the detailed scientific findings from audio studies conducted with the National Research Council of Canada.

The duo’s goal was to achieve a level of performance that would erase the speaker itself from the equation. Pure, lifelike audio, uninhibited by coloration, unrestrained in its ability to translate power into sound at a price that could allow anyone to experience this magic. Award-winning Paradigm products are now carried by more than 25 international distributors, available in more than 55 countries around the world. We consider it a home-grown success story.
